Yellow Gnat flies at North Weald

A cold but beautifully sunny day on December 10 at North Weald was complemented by the sight of a third Folland Gnat becoming airworthy for the Gnat Display Team. Painted bright yellow, XS102 (G-MOUR) successfully took to the skies in the hands of Chris Heames with Oliver Wheeldon in the back seat. The jet, which last flew at an airshow in 2008, performed well during the 15-minute test flight.
