Good to see the recent Lockheed P-38 Lightning coverage in the magazine, as it's a type that is so often overlooked. Readers might also be interested to know that although the P-38 had been rejected for RAF service in 1941, the type did in fact serve operationally with the RAF later in the war - in Bomber Command!
