An encounter with'633 Squadron'

So there I was on July 29, 1963, sitting at the holding point at the northern outpost of Training Command, RAF Acklington (now HM Prison, Northumberland), in Jet Provost T.4 XR677, waiting to take-off for the return leg of my solo land-away cross-country navigation exercise, heading back to RAF Leeming. "Hold position - we have a flypast taking place," offered the ATC man - so I held, waiting until the flypast was complete. At that point two camouflaged de Havilland Mosquitos in very close formation and at very low level came over my cockpit and headed off to the north! What a sight indeed and, as I subsequently discovered, they were on their way to do some filming for the movie 633 Squadron.
