Awhile back I became acquainted with Howard Everson, and although we never met, we became friends. Howard had a list of friends he called his Eagles, and I was fortunate to be included. What I did not know then was that Howard was dying and our friendship was destined to last for only a couple of years! During that time all correspondence was either by mail and e-mail―we never talked! Howard was a born again SMALL member having been hip deep in the IMAA.
