Ikarus-USA'a Super Star Shock Flyer

The regular club flying site is a great place, with its open space and social scene, but slow-flyers and indoor planes have opened up so many new possibilities. With the right airplane, it seems that suitable flying sites are just about everywhere you look: the warehouse in the back of the building where you work, the church community hall, or the gym at the local "Y". In my case, flying from the rocking chair on the front porch has been a daydream come true. When the staff at FM called and suggested that I do a review on the Ikarus Shock Flyer, I leapt at the chance. There are three variants of the Shock Flyer: one that looks like an Extra, one that looks like the Zivko Edge 540, and finally one that looks like the Henry Haigh Superstar. While all three, no doubt, fly similarly, the Superstar is the subject of this review, and the source of so much recent fun, for yours truly.
