Ex-German air force A310 to replace A300 as Novespace's zero-g trainer

One of the German air force's Airbus A310s is to succeed the oldest operational A300 as a zero-gravity trainer for astronauts.The aircraft will be used by French specialist operator Noves-pace to carry out parabolic flights which simulate the weightless environment of orbit.Novespace has been using a 41-year-old A300, MSN3, for its services. The aircraft is stationed at Bordeaux airport.
