Regarding AF447 - all the blame for the accident has been directed at the crew. When are the certification authorities and the manufacturers going to admit that if three pilots - in an aircraft which wasn't at an extreme attitude or performing violent manoeuvres - couldn't understand for over two minutes what the aircraft was doing, then there has to be a problem with what - if any -relevant information was presented to them?
