NATURAL GAS - EMERGING SOLUTION

Over the last several years our industry has witnessed a renewed interest in natural gas, specifically compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid natural gas (LNG), as a viable option for reduced emissions and a source of readily available fuel for some truck delivery applications.Since the 1960s, CNG has become a vehicle fuel alternative to oil-based gasoline and diesel fuel. Information about the more than 1,200 CNG refueling stations in the U.S. is available at the U.S. DOE Alternative Fuels Data Center. The total includes public service stations and private depot-to the nearest underground natural gas pipeline distribution system.
