Training Manikin Manufacturer named Welsh Exporter of the Year

The Daily Post Business Awards celebrates outstanding businesses in North Wales. On 28th November, at a glittering awards ceremony held at Bangor University, the team at Ruth lee Ltd were delighted to be presented with an award for their achievements in export. Ruth Lee Ltd needs no introduction to the UK's Fire and Rescue Service, having produced manikins specifically for the Service for almost 30 years. But in recent years, demand for their extensive range of rescue training manikins has grown world-wide, to the extent that they now export 70% of production abroad. In the past two years alone, the export business has grown by 75% and the company now exports to all corners of the globe including North and South America, Australia, many European countries, the Middle East and several Asian countries.
