The electrolux Group Logistics storage facility based in Wolverton, Milton Keynes, was built in the mid-19th century as a railway locomotive and carriage repair works. The single-story building had brick walls with original cast iron columns. It was approximately 255m x 75m with no compart-mentalisation and no sprinklers. The company did, however, have a very high standard of site management and housekeeping.
