Police in South Korea have arrested two welding contractors in relation to a fire at a cold storage warehouse in which seven workers died and five others were hurt.rnAccording to media reports, the incident happened at the warehouse under renovation in Icheon, a city about 35 miles south of the capital, Seoul, on 5 December.rnSome 70 workers on the site evacuated safely, but seven others - most of them welders - who were working in the basement became trapped. The victims are believed to have died from suffocation and serious burns. The fire also spread to nearby bush areas, fanned by strong winds. South Korean police officials said that the two weldersrnhad been arrested on charges of manslaughter by gross negligence on duty.
