High street retailer New Look has been ordered to pay out more than £530,000 in what amounts to the largest fine to date under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 in England and Wales.rnLondon Fire Brigade prosecuted the company following a serious fire at its Oxford Street store on 26 April 2007. Thirty fire engines and some 150 firefighters were needed to tackle the blaze, and crews remained at the scene for the next three days.
