Chemical firm fined for'appalling'fire safety breaches

A chemical manufacturing company has been fined ￡10,500 after pleading guilty to seven fire safety offences at Tameside Magistrates' Court on 23 January 2013. The prosecution of Atom Scientific Limited followed an inspection by Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service of the company's premises at Arrow Trading Estate, Tameside.
