Director fined for breaches of enforcement notices

THE DIRECTOR of a woodworking company has been fined for failing to comply with enforcement notices from the Health and Safety Executive relating to controlling fire and explosion risks. The case was heard at Swansea Magistrates' Court, and stated that Classical Joinery Group Ltd of Neath had not complied with four enforcement notices between November 2016 and August 2018.The notices were served to ensure compliance with controlling fire and explosion risks associated with the spraying of a flammable substance, as well as health risks associated with the use of hazardous substances.
