Power Plant Wastewater Reuse - A Case History

The High Desert Power Project, LLC, is a large California power generator using chemical addition and membrane technologies to treat and reuse cooling tower blowdown in a ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) process. Clarified California Aqueduct Water feeds the cooling tower. Cooling tower blowdown is pumped to a first stage reaction tank.
