The brazilian mining company CVRD reveals that its target in terms of iron ore price increases for the coming year is 24%. Some commentators had been suggesting an increase of 10%, others as high as 20%. China is aiming to keep the price rise down to 5-10%. They are therefore slightly apart. European importers have assumed that a rate of 12-15% is probable.
