Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam have been targeted as centres of German group Hego's investment activity over the coming year. Its representation in Vietnam is going to be transformed into a fully fledged country organisation. It also plans to develop its set-up in Laos, where Hego today cooperates with a network partner. Meanwhile its organisation in Thailand will be expanded. Bremen-based Hego, with operating companies Hansa Meyer Global Transport and Wilh Loesch UEberseespedition, generates annual revenues of € 130M (S170M) and employs 250 people in 28 offices globally, focusing on project supply chain management and forwarding. "Our core regions are the Middle East and Southeast Asia. That's where we are on a growth course," said MD Juern Schmidt.
