Sea Japan

Japan's maritime industries are thriving because of the weaker yen and an expanding economy, with the country's shipbuilders winning orders for 1,900 vessels in 2013. This year's Sea Japan will give the country's shipyards and marine equipment manufacturers the opportunity to display the advanced 'eco' ship technologies - for which they are well known in the exhibition halls - and to discuss them in the conference and a series of seminars. The event will focus on: environmental protection, offshore exploration and maritime security. The conference will include presentations on growth strategies from senior executives of Japan's Big Three shipping lines, MOL, NYK and 'K' Line, and its four major builders.
