M/V Oceanex Connaigra

Renowned German ro-ro vessel builder Flensburger has come up with a futuristic design solution as a replacement for Oceanex's 37-year-old Cabot. Despite the maximum use of flat steel plate to minimise costs the one-off Oceanex Connaigra looks extremely distinctive in its owner's red and white livery. Cargo space has been maximised by positioning the accommodation block as far forward as possible with the builder having utilised a gently sloping front above a whaleback mooring deck. Behind this structure the lifeboats are fully nested, which provides a very neat and uncluttered profile.
