Dae Sun wins four 1,000teu boxships

South Korean liner operator Heung-A Shipping has placed a new order for four 1,000teu boxships at compatriot shipbuilder Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering. The newbuildings are due for delivery between the fourth quarter of 2014 and the first quarter of 2015, and are understood to have been priced at just under $20M per vessel. They will be built to a revised version of Dae Sun's standard design 1,000teu boxship.
