HHI secures gas carrier options

Hyundai HI (HHI) has secured options for three very large gas carriers (VLGCs) from two owners - one LNG carrier from Malaysian state-owned oil company Petronas and two LPG tankers from Norwegian shipowner Aurora LPG. The 150,200m~3 Moss-type LNG carrier is the first of four options from an original order of four plus four that was placed in October 2013. Delivery of the four ordered last year is scheduled between September 2016 and September 2017, with the latest newbuilding planned for November 2017.
