Macquarie Data Centres expects to spend an additional $50 million and to createhundreds of new jobs as a result of a "significant customer win".In today’s announcement, Macquarie said it has entered into a contract to provide 10MWof capacity at its Macquarie Park Data Centre Campus.Macquarie said that total capex is expected to increase by $40to $50 million this financial year, totalling $180 to $200 million,with the contract win “anticipated to create hundreds of newjobs over the year ahead”.
