Ericsson unveils its router for the evolved packet core

Ericsson has announced its first router designed for the evolved packet core that will be key feature of LTE mobile networks and beyond. It says several other 'new generation IP products for mobile network wil be revealed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. According to Ericsson, its new generation IP networking portfolio "looks beyond the current generation. It can handle point-to-multipoint, connecting people and devices to peers, networks and the cloud."
