Microsoft and Nokia have announced plans to spend up to EUR 18m in developing mobile applications over the next three years under a new program at Finland's Aalto University. Each company will put up half the cost. The AppCampus program will foster the creation of mobile apps for the Windows Phone OS as well as Nokia's Symbian and Series 40 platforms.
