摘要

In the run-up to the EU-Russia summit, to be held on 21 and 22 May in Khabarovsk (Russia), European vet-erinary experts have expressed their concern about Moscow's maintenance of several restrictions to trade in agrifood products. In fact, there has even been a manifold increase in these restrictions. Once again, this subject should bypass discussions as energy interests predominate in relations between the two blocs. The EU should be satisfied with reminding Russia of its obligations from the perspective of a possible membership of the World Trade Organisation.
