MEP John Bowis recommends 'sense and sensibility'

British MEP John Bowis (EPP-ED) supports overall the proposal for a directive on cross-border health care, but wishes to clear up certain "areas of uncertainty".rnHis draft report on the subject will be submitted to the European Parliament's Committee on Environment and Public Health, on 31 March. Bowis warns that the report is not about "solving the inequalities of health care across Europe or within member states" - that is a problem to be settled by the respective member states, he says - but addresses instead the question of "equity and equality of opportunity".
