Scandinavia and Mediterranean to be hardest hit, EEA predicts

Europe will be on average 1.5°C wanner between 2021 and 2050 than during the period 1960 to 1990, according to projections released by the European Environment Agency (EEA), on 3 May. Eastern Scandinavia and the Mediterranean basin will be the hardest hit by the warming that will affect Europe from 2021, adds the EEA, whose online analysis is illustrated by maps.
