This invention deals with non-interferon treatments for HCV therapy. Preferably,treatment is within a shorter duration of treatment,like no more than twelve weeks. In one respect,treatment includes the administration of at least two immediate antiviral agents and ribavirin to a HCV infected subject, where treatment lasts for twelve weeks and does not include the administration of interferon,and these at least two immediate antiviral agents include (a) Union 1 and (b) Union 2 or a medically acceptable salt thereof, as disclosed in the description.
