Parliament adopts biocides directive

The European Parliament, meeting in plenary on 19 January in Strasbourg, approved by an overwhelming majority (626 to ten, with nine abstentions) the agreement of 24 November 2011 with the Council on the draft directive that regulates the placing on the market of biocides.
