We agree to his opinion. First, just as Lin and Ying [1] pointed out, a comprehensive theory of FDESs still needs to be set up, including many important concepts, methods and theorems. As one kind of control specifications, the state-based control for FDESs with partial observation is an interesting issue. Second, Cao mentioned that FDESs with fuzzy events may be better than the present framework of FDESs with crisp events. In fact, Du et al. [2] have proposed an extended FDES, in which the elements in the fuzzy states vectors and fuzzy state transitions are allowed to be fuzzy numbers. Therefore, the extended FDESs generalize the present FDES. Finally, fuzzy control based on fuzzy IF-THEN rules is different from the control ofrnFDESs, so a further issue is regarding the relationship between them. Of course, there are still some other interesting issues such as the failure diagnosis of FDESs and the FDESs modeled by fuzzy Petri nets.
