There are a few issues in their discussion that the authors would like to point out.rnAs it is mentioned in the first paragraph "Theoretical advance" of this discussion, it is probable that the partial state and input observability for linear systems could be studied by means of the works of [9]. However, we think that the latter is less adapted for considering structured linear systems than a graph-based analysis method. Furthermore, its extension to the problem of partial input and state observability seems not to be so easy.
