摘要

The article by Wei and Verhaegen [3] has studied the design of robust fault detection observers and fault estimation filters for linear invariant control systems. Based on GKYP Lemma, the design issues of the observers and filters for fault detection have successfully been formulated as two separated optimisation problems. This note is to generalise the optimisation problems derived in [3] so that the design of fault detection observers and fault estimation filters has more opportunities to obtain the best compromise solution.
