This comment considers the outcomes and implications of the High Court and Court of Appeal rulings granting the US company Celgard, a manufacturer of battery separators, an interim injunction against a Chinese company accused of using Celgard's trade secrets to market and sell infringing products to a UK customer with which Celgard was seeking to renew its supply agreement.
