Automated Mapping of Profitable District Cooling Areas

What are the most important basic variables that determine the success of a district cooling system? This article argues that two main factors are crucial for profitability: Consumer demand and distance between potential consumers. In order to determine the district cooling potential at an early stage, an automated tool for mapping profitable district cooling areas is presented.
