EU Parliament Committee Adopts Energy Performance of Buildings Report

On 11 October the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (Itre) adopted by a large majority MEP Bendt Bendtsen's report on the Commission's EPBD (energy performance of buildings directive) proposal from November 2016. The report highlights the importance of a decarbonised building stock by 2050 and pushes for the right conditions to move forward.
