System T - A Modular System for Wide Area Paging

A new modular system for wide area paging is now being put in service in a number of markets. The product, called System T, is in several respects a completely new telecommunications concept. The author describes the system architecture, access functions, the cost-effective satellite distribution recommended for the system, and the large number of basic and supplementary services it is capable of providing.
