It gives me huge pleasure, on behalf of the Conference organising team, to introduce the papers from UKELA's 2010 Annual Conference. For those who were unable to attend it provides a record of the essential debates that took place in June in Exeter. The weekend opened with Robert Upton explaining the initial work of the Integrated Planning Commission. That work, it was announced the following Monday, will be merged with that of the Planning Inspectorate.
