MEPs to chew over Spring Summit outcome

March 26 will see the European Parliament hold a special one-day session in Brussels to discuss the outcome of the Spring Summit. Next week will be quiet in Brussels, with EU institutions closed for Easter on Thursday and Friday. However, the EU environmental focus will turn to Japan, with two international meetings scheduled. The first, on 14-16 March in Chiba, is the G20 ministerial dialogue on climate change, energy and sustainable development, the so-called Gleneagles Dialogue. The second, in Tokyo on 17 March, is the EU-Japan High Level Meeting on the environment.
