Political groups nominate rapporteurs on climate package

The names of the four MEPs appointed as rapporteurs for the dossiers that make up the climate change package are now official. As EE & PL announced last week, the Liberals have appointed UK MEP Chris Davies as rapporteur for the carbon capture and storage draft legislation. As EE & PL went to press, the European People's Party (EPP) confirmed that it has appointed Irish MEP Avril Doyle as rapporteur for the revision of the EU emissions trading scheme.
