Member states push for longer dangerous chemicals list

Since January six member state competent authorities have been sifting through over 1,000 dangerous chemicals with a view to presenting the most lethal to the European Commission and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) at a REACH meeting in October, EE&PL has learnt.rnSpearheaded by the Dutch REACH bureau, the countries campaigning to get more substances on the Agency' so-called Candidate List are current holder of the EU Council presidency Sweden, as well as Austria, Denmark, France and Germany.
