Council agrees EU to push for world to share genetic resources at biodiversity talks

The Environment Council last week agreed that the EU would push for an international pact on access to genetic resources and benefit-sharing during 18 -29 October negotiations in Nagoya, Japan under a global biodiversity treaty.
