Finnish Green MEP Satu Hassi last week highlighted concerns that the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in Helsinki might not have adequate funding to carry out all its duties under EU legislation.rnHassi unveiled the concerns to the European Parliament's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee on 27 April as she reported back on a visit that a delegation from ENVI had made to ECHA earlier last month. The 8-9 April visit was the first that the Committee had paid the agency in Helsinki since it started work in 2007.
