Revamped ecolabel scheme regulation published

The regulation setting out the revamped ecolabel scheme will take effect later this month after it was published in the EU Official Journal over the weekend (OJ L 27 of 30.01.2010).rnThe main change is to the range of products covered, which will be far greater than under the existing scheme. However, food is still not included but may be added in a future upgrade depending on the results of a feasibility study that the European Commission has to produce by the end of 2011.
