Calumet Lubricants Company operates a solvents plant that produces over 14 separate specialty products. Many of the towers are two-product (top and bottom) fractionators, while one operates with a side-cut product. All of these towers operate in a sequential fractionation scheme where the bottom product from an upstream tower provides the feed to the subsequent tower.
