Slovenia warned over lack of ecodesign legislation

The European Commission said on 24 November that it was sending Slovenia a reasoned opinion -the final warning before court action - because the country's legislation is still not in line with EU ecodesign rules. "All energy using products have an impact on the environment during their life - spanning all phases from creation to the disposal cycle, notably in terms of their greenhouse gas emissions," the Commission said in justifying the decision in a statement.
