Docket No. 931, 9/16/10).rnThe U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit denied a petition by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District for a writ of mandamus, ruling that such an extraordinary legal remedy was not warranted at this time, but left the door open for a future motion by the utility in the event of unreasonable delays by the Energy Department. The appeals court left in place the $53 million judgment against the department.
