摘要

Lansing, Mich.-A bankruptcy court scheduled a Feb. 9 hearing to consider a request to compel Motors Liquidation Co. to pay additional funds to the trust handling the cleanup and redevelopment of former General Motors Corp. sites, according to a spokeswoman for the New York Attorney General's Office (In re Motors Liquidation Co., Bankr. S.D. N.Y., No. 09-50026, hearing date set 12/6/11). The Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response (RACER) Trust says Motors Liquidation, the non-operating portion of the former GM and known as "Old GM," substituted an all-cash payment with a combination of cash and Treasury securities, improperly valuing the securities in the process (42 ER 2697, 12/2/11).
