E-Waste Recycling Certification Standard Seeks to Clarify Requirements From 2008

R2 Solutions, a nonprofit group that manages the R2 electronics recycling certification, will accept public comments on a draft version of its updated used electronics recycling certification standard through Dec. 16. The revised standard will clarify the original 2008 certification requirements and will "improve the readability and understanding of the standard, provide additional best practices, and enhance the quality of certification," according to a Nov. 1 statement from R2 Solutions.
