Agenda Full in Obama Second Term; Chemical, Water, Oil Drilling Rules Readied

Beyond its high-profile greenhouse gas and air pollution rules, the Obama administration has an agenda full of other regulatory actions it could advance over the next four years, including measures that would affect how the Clean Water Act is applied to certain waterways and rules to protect streams near coal mining operations. The Clean Water Act guidance has been under review by the White House Office of Management and Budget since May of this year and could be finalized in the months ahead.
