EPA Adds to List of Acceptable Substitutes For Ozone-Depleting Substances, Notice Says

The Environmental Protection Agency has added to the list of acceptable substitutes for ozone-depleting substances under its Significant New Alternatives Policy program, according to a notice being published Aug. 10.The agency has determined it is acceptable to use additional substitutes in the refrigeration and air conditioning, foam blowing, solvent cleaning, aerosols, and fire suppression sectors.
